01What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the studio and respond to you.
- Contact details you send us through the contact form, the brand reality review, or by email: name, work email, company, and the message itself.
- Project information shared during a working engagement, including briefs, assets, and any credentials you give us access to.
- Usage data collected automatically: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device and browser type. We use this in aggregate to understand what works on the site.
- Inquiry attribution records the source of a visit, such as Google search or a campaign link. We keep the source category in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes of inactivity so it carries across pages. If you request a Name Search, we save its source with the request in our contact system. Our public-page analytics measure form activity and contact-link clicks; private scorecard pages are excluded.
- Cookies that keep the site working and help us measure traffic. You can clear or block them through your browser settings at any time.
Booking a conversation
We use Microsoft Bookings to schedule introductory conversations. When you book, we receive the contact details, appointment details, and any answers or notes you provide in the booking form. We use this information to arrange and prepare for the conversation, communicate about your appointment, and follow up on your inquiry.
Microsoft processes and stores booking information within Microsoft 365 and Exchange. Booking a conversation does not subscribe you to marketing emails. For questions about your booking information or to request access, correction, or deletion, email hello@uslstudio.co.
The Name Search
When you request a scorecard, we collect your name, email, LinkedIn profile URL, and any resume you choose to attach. We use these details with public search results to prepare an AI-assisted report. A resume provides context for the report; it is not published on the site.
Our search, AI, storage, and email providers process the information needed to prepare and send the scorecard. Our team receives a copy of the report and any attached resume. We also record the request and its status in our internal contact system. Requesting a scorecard does not book a call or subscribe you to marketing emails.
Resume uploads in our file storage are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. That cleanup does not remove copies already emailed to our team or the report and contact records. For questions about retention, or to request deletion across these systems, email hello@uslstudio.co.
02How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and propose work.
- To deliver work you've commissioned, including invoicing.
- To improve the site and our service.
- To comply with our legal obligations (tax records, contract evidence).
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to train external AI models. We do not send marketing emails to people who have not asked to hear from us.
03Who we share it with
Your information stays inside the studio unless one of the following applies:
- Service providers we rely on to run the business, including scheduling (Microsoft Bookings), email and calendar services (Microsoft 365, Resend, Google Workspace), hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics), databases (Supabase), payments, and accounting. They process data only on our instructions.
- Collaborators on your project, when explicit collaboration is part of the engagement and you have agreed to it.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
04How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation if it resumes. Project files and records tied to a paid engagement are kept for the period required by U.S. tax and contract law (including Texas record-retention rules), then deleted or archived.
05Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do that, email hello@uslstudio.co from the address you contacted us with. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
06Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls on the tools we use, and short-lived credentials wherever possible. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you promptly.
07Children
The site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
08Changes
When this policy changes meaningfully, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify clients we are actively working with.
