Dr. Akande brings together artistic practice, scholarship, and a career in public service. We organized the website around her work and background, giving visitors a way to understand the artist as well as explore her paintings and exhibitions.

This project demonstrates the personal website and presentation work we deliver: an independent place to share a body of work, explain its context, and help visitors take the next step.

A restrained layout gives the artwork room. Visitors can browse paintings, open a larger view, move between works with the keyboard, and share individual artwork links. Exhibition pages bring related work together, with purchase links for available pieces.

Built with Next.js on Vercel, the website uses Google Sheets for exhibition content, Google Drive for images, and Stripe Payment Links for purchases. Dedicated artwork links and sharing images make individual works easier to send to others.

Existing content can be managed through the spreadsheet. Adding a new exhibition involves both a new sheet tab and a configuration update.
